Tehama Shooters Association By-Laws Article II: Object
The object of this organization shall be the encouragement of the organized rifle, shotgun, and pistol shooting among citizens of the United States resident in our community, with the view toward better knowledge of the part of such citizens of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improve marksmanship. It shall be our further object and purpose to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good-fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
All members are reminded that the range is closed to all shooting during a scheduled event.
We have shooters coming from out of the area to participate in sanctioned events. Many are competing for national points so be courteous and check your schedule before coming out to the range.
Important Notice:
The Junior Shooters Safety Firearms Training Day, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 28th, has been cancelled due to the current fire situation.
No future re-schedule date has been set at this time.

A GIANT THANK YOU to all the workers who donated their time and equipment during weed abatement workday. Special thanks goes to Chuck Tompkins of Tompkins Electric who not only provided a 4x4 backhoe but put in a full day of work as well. THANK YOU to Lee Ward of Wards Concrete for donating the truck and fuel to deliver 24 tons of sand to the range on Friday and coming back on Saturday to donate his time with a bobcat skid steer, bucket and forks, pickup and dump trailer to shuttle the sand from the quarry to the target line. Thank you Lee!
